River Cottage
River Cottage is in Enochdhu. It's a detached house, so no one shares any walls. The view from the front is just fields and hills, no other houses.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and everything works. It's warm, even in winter, especially with the woodburning stove going.
You're right on the edge of the river. We see deer down there most days. Red squirrels come to the bird feeders. At night, because there are no street lights, you can see a lot of stars.
The village of Kirkmichael is about three miles away. It has a shop, a couple of pubs that do food, and a post office. For a bigger shop, Pitlochry is ten miles. Blairgowrie is about fifteen.
You can walk straight from the door. The Cateran Trail passes nearby. Glenshee ski centre is twenty miles away if that's your thing. For fishing, you can get a permit locally.
Inside, it has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can park right outside. No pets, sorry.
