Ardle Lodge is in Enochdhu, Perthshire. It's a detached house set in a couple of acres of its own grounds. The River Ardle runs through the bottom of the garden.
The place sleeps six, in three double bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one is an en-suite. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's spacious and comfortable, not luxurious. The main living room has a wood burner and doors out to the patio.
The owner lives in another house on the same two acres. They're around if you need anything but they're out during the day. You won't be overlooked.
For facilities, it has what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
The village shop in Kirkmichael is two miles away. It's good for basics and local meat. There's a pub there that does food. For a bigger shop, Pitlochry is about ten miles. It has supermarkets, more places to eat, and some independent shops.
You can walk straight from the door. The Cateran Trail goes through the village. For skiing, the Glenshee ski centre is about a twenty minute drive. The Cairngorms National Park is half an hour away for walking or mountain biking. There are several golf courses nearby, like Rosemount in Blairgowrie.
