Hill View
Hill View is just outside Dalbeattie. It's a detached house in our grounds, so it feels private. The view from the front is across fields towards hills.
It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. The bathroom has a shower over the bath. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. WiFi is included.
The garden is yours to use. There's a patio with furniture and a bit of lawn. You can park right outside.
There's a shop and a pub about a mile away in Hardgate. The pub does meals. Dalbeattie town is about two miles for more shops and places to eat.
If you like mountain biking, the Dalbeattie 7stanes trailhead is very close. For walking, the area is good. The Galloway Forest Park is about a twenty minute drive. It's a Dark Sky Park, so the stars on a clear night are something else. The coast at Rockcliffe or Kippford is maybe fifteen minutes by car. Sandy beaches are a bit further, like at Sandyhills.
