Laurel Bank
This is Laurel Bank in New Alyth. It's attached to our house but you have your own door and it's self-contained. It's for two people, one bedroom and one bathroom.
It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean but simple. There's a washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring a dog.
You have your own bit of patio, and we share the front garden. The view is over fields towards the Angus Glens. There's parking right outside.
The village shop and a pub are about five minutes' walk. The pub does food. Alyth itself is a mile or so away for more shops.
If you're walking, you're right on the edge of the glens. You can start a proper hill walk from the door or just have a gentle stroll. For the coast, Lunan Bay or Arbroath are about half an hour's drive. Dundee is under half an hour away, that's where the V&A is and the Discovery.
Golf is big here. There are courses in Alyth, Blairgowrie and Kirriemuir. Carnoustie is about a 25 minute drive.
