Jessamine Cottage

This is Jessamine Cottage. It's in Blairgowrie, which is a market town in Perthshire. The street is quiet. You get the whole detached cottage to yourselves.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not palatial. There's a wood burning stove in the living room for cooler evenings.

The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing dogs. We allow two. It's got a patio area and a barbecue.

You're about five minutes' walk from the town centre. There's a pub and places to eat close by. The River Ericht runs through the town, good for a stroll. The Ardblair Trail and Cateran Trail start nearby if you want a proper walk.

If you're here for golf, there are two championship courses in the town and plenty more around. Gleneagles is about a 40-minute drive. St Andrews and Carnoustie are further, about an hour and a quarter, but people do day trips.

For days out, Glenshee ski slopes are roughly half an hour away by car. Glamis Castle and Scone Palace are both within a 30-minute drive. Dunkeld is about 20 minutes. Perth and Dundee are easy to reach if you need a city. The coast at places like St Andrews is about an hour.

Inside, you've got the basics covered: WiFi, TV, a washing machine, dishwasher, and parking for one car on the driveway. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
