The Coach House

This is The Coach House. It's on the grounds of Ardblair Castle, just outside Blairgowrie. It's one of two semi-detached cottages there. Sleeps two, one bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well set up.

It's all on the ground floor. The living, dining and kitchen area is open plan. There's a good shower room with a walk-in shower. It's furnished to a decent standard, everything you'd need is there. The place is peaceful, but you can walk into the town centre in about fifteen minutes for shops and places to eat.

Outside, you've got your own patio area. Parking is right there, and there's an electric vehicle charger if you need it.

For things to do, Blairgowrie is a good base. The Glenshee ski centre is about a half hour drive up the A93. Rosemount golf course is on the edge of town. There's fishing on the River Ericht, and plenty of walking right from the doorstep. The Angus Glens are a short drive away for more serious walks.

If you want to go further, Scone Palace is about a 25 minute drive towards Perth. Glamis Castle is a similar distance the other way. Dundee, with the V&A museum, is about 40 minutes by car. The beach at St Andrews or the East Neuk is around an hour.

Facilities wise, it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, I'm afraid.
