The Coach House
The Coach House is next to Ardblair Castle, just outside Blairgowrie. It's one of two cottages there, but you've got your own space. It's a ground floor place for two people.
It's an open plan layout, so the living room, dining area and kitchen are all one room. There's a shower room with a walk-in shower. The rating is 4 Star, which basically means it's well-furnished and comfortable. It feels quite private, even though it's semi-detached.
The town centre is about a fifteen minute walk. There's a pub a bit closer, maybe a twenty minute walk back up the hill. You're right on the edge of the countryside though, so you can head straight out for a walk from the door.
Blairgowrie is good for golf. The Rosemount course is here. Glenshee ski centre is about half an hour's drive. If you don't ski, it's still a great drive up there. For castles, Glamis and Scone Palace are both within a 30 minute drive. Dundee is about 40 minutes away for the V&A museum.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and parking right outside. The bedding and towels are included. We've put in an electric vehicle charger. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
