Coille Mhor
Coille Mhor is in Spittalfield, Perthshire. It's a detached bungalow, so there are no stairs. It sets well back from the village green, which keeps things quiet.
The house sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating. It’s clean and it works. The layout is open plan at the back: lounge, dining area, and kitchen all in one room. Patio doors lead out to the garden, which is fully enclosed. The garden gets the sun in the afternoon. It's a simple, decent space to sit.
Spittalfield is a small place. It was a weaving village. There's a good café here and an organic farm shop. The nearest pub or restaurant is about three miles away.
You're about six miles from Dunkeld one way and Blairgowrie the other. Both have shops, places to eat, and golf courses. Fishing is available on several local beats.
For a day out, you're close to lots of Perthshire scenery. You can be in Dunkeld in ten minutes to walk by the Tay or see the cathedral. Blairgowrie is the same. Further afield, Perth, Stirling, and Edinburgh are all within an hour or so by car. The National Trust for Scotland looks after Dunkeld Cathedral and other sites nearby.
