Reidochie is an annexe attached to Princeland House, which used to be the coach house. It's self-contained and private. You get your own seating area out the front, looking over the gardens.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms upstairs. Both rooms have super king beds. There's one shower room. Downstairs there's a kitchen, a breakfast room, and a snug. The owner of the main house uses an electric Aga, so that's what's in the kitchen. There's a microwave too.
The place has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after. The ceilings are high and some of the stairs are cottage-style, so they're a bit steep.
The garden here is a proper project. The owner is planting different areas in various styles. It opens for charity snowdrop walks in late winter. You'll see birds, red squirrels, sometimes roe deer.
Coupar Angus is a small town. You've got a Co-op, a baker, a chemist, a petrol station, and a hotel with a pool room all close by. A big supermarket is about five minutes' drive.
For getting out, you're in good Perthshire walking country. Blairgowrie and Dunkeld are nearby. Glenshee is about half an hour for skiing in winter. There's fishing on the Tay and Isla. Golf at Rosemount in Blairgowrie is close, and St Andrews is under an hour.
Dundee and Perth are a short drive. Dundee has the V&A museum. Perth has a theatre and swimming pool.
Facilities include a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. The whole place is wheelchair accessible at the entrance. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
If you need space for more people, you can book the place next door, Princeland Lodge, as well.
