Cotlea East Cottage is in Alyth, Perthshire. It's attached to our house, but it's entirely separate and private. You've got your own front door.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. The bathroom is a wet room, so it's all tiled and the shower is level with the floor. It's modern and works well. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after.
The main thing is the space. There's a proper living room with a wood burner, and a separate dining room with another wood burner. It's a stone cottage, so it can be cool in summer, but those burners make it really cosy if you're here in the colder months.
Outside, the garden is fully enclosed. It's quite big and secluded, with views over the fields. There's a patio with furniture. We've also got a field of about seven acres attached to the property. You and the dogs are welcome to use it for a wander. We allow up to two pets.
Alyth is about three miles away. It's a small town with shops and a couple of pubs. The Den of Alyth is nice for a walk, it's a wooded glen on the edge of town. Blairgowrie is a bit bigger and has more shops and places to eat, that's a few miles further on.
If you want to go exploring, Glenshee is about 20 miles for skiing in winter. Pitlochry is a nice day out, maybe 40 minutes by car. For the coast, St Andrews and the beaches are around a 40 minute drive east.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, TV, parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. There's also a stairgate.
