Cotlea East Cottage
Cotlea East Cottage is in Alyth, Perthshire. It's attached to our house but it's completely separate. You've got your own front door and garden. The garden is big and fully enclosed. It looks out over the fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. The bathroom is a walk-in wet room, which is good for washing muddy boots or a dog. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable. There are two wood burners, one in the sitting room and one in the dining room. You don't have to use both. The stairs are normal.
The town of Alyth is about three miles away. It's got a co-op for shopping and a couple of places to eat. The Den of Alyth is a good walk, it's a wooded glen right on the edge of town. Blairgowrie is a few miles further on for more shops. Pitlochry is about a half hour drive west. They've got a theatre and the fish ladder there.
If you like golf, there are courses around. For walking and cycling, you can just go straight out from the cottage. Glenshee ski centre is about 20 miles away for winter sports. If you want a proper mountain day, you can drive into the Cairngorms. Braemar is about an hour.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, a cot and highchair if you need them, bedding and towels are included. Parking for two cars right outside. You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed but you should keep an eye on them.
