Myreside Cottage is in Meigle, Perthshire. It's a single-storey cottage, so everything's on one level. That makes it good for people who don't like stairs, or if you're bringing a buggy. It's detached and looks out over fields. The back patio gets the sun in the afternoon.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It was done up a couple of years ago, so it's clean and everything works. It has a 4 Star rating.
You can take up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed but it's not Fort Knox, so you'd need to keep an eye on a real escape artist.
The village of Meigle is a couple of minutes in the car. There's a shop, a hotel and a couple of cafes. Glamis Castle is about ten minutes away. Dundee and Perth are about half an hour's drive, depending on traffic.
If you like walking, you're well placed. Kinpurney Hill is nearby, you can see the tower from the cottage. For longer trips, the Angus Glens are a 20-minute drive. The east coast beaches, like at Lunan Bay, are about 45 minutes.
For facilities, you've got the basics: wifi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. There's a highchair and a cot if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside.
