Greenford Farm

Greenford Farm is a farmhouse in Kirkton of Auchterhouse. It's detached. You're about seven miles from Dundee, up on a bit of a slope. The views are good, over fields.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got the 4 Star rating. We've refurbished it, so it's clean and works well. The big thing is the open plan living area at the back. There's a wood burner in the middle of the room, so you can see it from the lounge and the sun room. The sun room gets the afternoon light.

There's a big patio out the front and a garden to the side. It's enclosed. You can fit two dogs, we just ask you keep them off the furniture.

For walking, you've got the Sidlaw Hills paths right on the doorstep. Auchterhouse Hill is a straightforward walk with a decent view. Dundee is close for shopping or if you need something from a big shop. The V&A museum is there, and Discovery Point if you're interested in that.

The coast is about half an hour's drive. Carnoustie and Lunan Bay are good beaches. If you want to go further, St Andrews or up into the Angus Glens for walking are within that sort of range.

Facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and an electric vehicle charger. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them.
