Appletree Cottage
Appletree Cottage is an old farm cottage on our working farm. It's a single storey bungalow, so everything is on the ground floor. It's just for two people.
You're on your own in the cottage but we and the other farm cottages are nearby. It's quiet here. You get a private garden and patio with a barbecue. It looks out over the fields. It's a good spot for watching the sun go down.
Inside, it's one bedroom and one bathroom with a shower. It has a four star rating, so it's comfortable. There's a wood burning stove for cooler nights. We supply the logs. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. WiFi works. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
We're about five miles from Dundee. You can be in the city centre in fifteen minutes by car. There are supermarkets and restaurants there.
For days out, Glamis Castle is about twenty minutes away. The Angus coast is roughly half an hour's drive. Places like Arbroath and Lunan Bay are good for a walk. For a longer trip, you can get into the Cairngorms National Park or down to St Andrews in under an hour.
