Grange Loft
Grange Loft is a loft conversion in our house, but it's entirely separate. It's in Fowlis, a few miles north of Dundee. You're up in the eaves, so you get a good view out over the garden and the fields from the living room.
It's for two people. One bedroom with a king-size bed and an en-suite shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. Because it's a loft, the ceilings slope and the windows are velux. You'll need to mind your head in a couple of spots.
The kitchen is open plan with the living area. It's got most things you'd need: a dishwasher, washing machine, and the WiFi is included. You'll see our garden from the patio doors. Parking is right outside.
You can bring one dog. There's a travel cot in the cupboard if you need it. All bedding and towels are provided.
The village has a pub about four miles away. For a bigger shop or more places to eat, you'd head into Dundee, which is about twenty minutes by car. The beaches are the main draw here. Carnoustie is closest, about twenty-five minutes east. Lunan Bay and St Andrews are a bit further, maybe forty-five minutes. For walking, the Angus Glens are inland. Glen Esk or Glen Clova are good starting points, roughly half an hour's drive.
