Kingfisher Cottage
Kingfisher Cottage is out here on the farm, about three miles from the nearest village. It's a detached, single-storey place, which is good if you don't want stairs. It's down a farm track, so it's quiet. You look out over fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both en-suite. It's a 5 Star place, so everything's been done to a high standard. It feels new and solid. The main room has high ceilings, a wood burner, and big windows.
The cottage is on a working farm. You'll see tractors and cattle. There are three other cottages here, so sometimes other guests are about, but you've got your own garden.
The village is three miles away for a shop and a pub. For bigger shops, you'd go to Perth or Forfar. Glamis Castle is nearby if you like that sort of thing.
You're well placed for getting about. Perth, Dundee, and St Andrews are all within about half an hour. You can be in Edinburgh in an hour and a half, or up into the Highlands not long after that. There's fishing on the estate if you're into it.
As for the place itself, it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right outside. It's wheelchair friendly. You can bring up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included.
