Kingfisher Cottage
Kingfisher Cottage is near Ruthven, just outside Alyth. It's on our working farm, down a proper farm track so you get some peace. The cottage is all on one level and is detached, so no one's next door.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathroom, which is useful. It's got a 5 Star rating, so everything's in good order and it's well looked after.
You're right out in the farmland here. The main living room has big windows that look out over the fields. There's a wood burner if you want it. The garden is enclosed so it's safe for dogs and kids.
Alyth is about three miles for shops and a pub. For a bigger shop, Blairgowrie is ten minutes the other way.
You're in a good spot for getting out. Glamis Castle is close. You can be in Perth in half an hour, or up into the Highlands in under an hour. St Andrews is about forty minutes if you're golfing. For walking, Glen Isla and Glen Shee start just north of here. The coast at Arbroath is about forty minutes.
Facilities are all there: wifi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Towels and bedding are included. There's parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs. The place is wheelchair friendly.
