Islabank Farmhouse
Islabank Farmhouse is on our farm. It's a working farm, so you'll see tractors and cattle. The house is detached and you've got your own garden, which is enclosed.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, all on the first floor, and each has its own bathroom. That's handy with a group. It's a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after, not modern minimalist.
You're in Ruthven, in the Vale of Strathmore. It's proper countryside. The nearest shop and pub are about three miles away in Meigle.
Glamis Castle is only a few miles from here. It's worth a visit. For a day out, Perth is about twenty minutes north. St Andrews is under an hour's drive if you fancy the coast or the famous golf. You can get to the edge of the Highlands or into Edinburgh in around an hour and a half.
There are good walks right from the door. If you've brought bikes, there's storage. Fishing is available locally on the River Isla.
In the house, there's a wood burning stove, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to three dogs.
