Hazelmere is a detached house in Blairgowrie. It's down a quiet lane, so there's not much traffic at all.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which helps when everyone's getting ready. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, but not a fancy show home.
The garden is mature and goes down to a small stream at the bottom. There's a hot tub out there too. It's a nice spot to sit.
The local pub is about 200 yards away. A shop is half a mile. Blairgowrie itself is a short walk. It's a market town with a few shops and places to eat.
The area is good for walking and golf. The Rosemount course is here. If you ski, Glenshee is about a 35 minute drive up the road. For a day out, Glamis Castle and Scone Palace are both within half an hour by car. Dundee and Perth are also about that drive. Dundee has the V&A museum. Loch of the Lowes is a wildlife reserve nearby.
This part of Perthshire is a good base. You can get into the Angus Glens or over towards Pitlochry fairly easily.
Facilities wise: it has a washing machine, WiFi, a TV, and parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Sorry, no pets.
