Fairways Retreat 2
Fairways Retreat 2 is on the Cottingham Parks site, just outside Cottingham village itself. It's a lodge, so it's detached and sits on its own decking area. You're looking out over the parkland.
It sleeps two people, with one bedroom and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The heating works well so it's comfortable all year. There's a TV and the Wi-Fi is included.
The main thing here is the hot tub. It's private, on your deck, and fits four people. It's a good spot to sit in the evening.
You can bring one dog. They need to be on a lead outside the lodge, and they can't go on the golf courses. There's plenty of ground to walk them on though.
The on-site health club is included. It has a decent-sized indoor pool, a gym, a sauna, and a steam room. The opening times change a bit through the week, so you'd want to check those.
Parking is straightforward. You get space for two cars right by the lodge.
Cottingham has a couple of pubs and shops. Hull city centre is about a fifteen minute drive if you want restaurants or the cinema. For days out, Beverley is lovely and is only ten minutes away by car. The coast at Hornsea or Spurn Point is within half an hour.
