The Barn is one of seven holiday barns on a farm in High Hunsley. It's on the ground floor, which is handy. There's a field out the front and you get your own bit of enclosed patio space with a table.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well kept and comfortable. Being a barn conversion, the ceilings are high and the main room is open plan. It feels spacious.
The kitchen has a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a stairgate if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
The farm is rural. There's a shop and a pub about two miles away in the village. The owners live on site. If you ride, you can bring your horse. They have stables and about five miles of tracks around the farm.
Beverley is about seven miles away. It's a nice market town with a Minster and proper shops. The coast, places like Hornsea or Bridlington, is about half an hour's drive. York is under 40 minutes if you want a day out there.
It's good for walkers. The Yorkshire Wolds Way runs nearby. For cyclists, the quiet lanes are good. There's a local golf course and fishing can be arranged.
