Baker's Cottage is in Hotham, which is near Market Weighton. It's a detached house. It's old, 17th century, and Grade II listed, so the walls aren't straight and the stairs are fairly steep. It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bathroom is downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The place has some original features. There are flagstone floors downstairs and wooden floors upstairs. The ceilings are vaulted in the bedrooms. Someone has painted murals on the walls in the hallway and the main bedroom. They're quite nice.
You've got gardens at the front and back. There's a patio area. There's a shed for storing bikes and parking for your car off the road.
The village pub is about a hundred yards away. They do food. The nearest shop is a mile away in North Cave. For a bigger shop, you'd go to Market Weighton, Pocklington, or Beverley, which are all within about a fifteen minute drive. Beverley has a lot of restaurants. The North Cave Wetlands are a mile away, good for a walk if you like birdwatching. York and Hull are both within about forty five minutes if you want a day out in a city.
Facilities: it's got a woodburning stove, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring one dog.
