The Old Stables is in North Cave, just off the M62 so it's easy to find. It's a detached single-storey cottage, so everything's on one level. It's got a 5 Star Gold rating, which really means it's been built and furnished for accessibility. The doorways are wide, there are wet rooms with pull cords, and the kitchen hob is set low. If you need a wheelchair or a shower chair, we have those here for you to use.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. The main room has a super king bed and an en-suite wet room. The second bedroom is a twin with its own bathroom next door.
The living area has bi-fold doors that open right up onto the garden. The garden itself is full of herbs like rosemary and lavender. It's enclosed. There's parking right outside the door.
In the village, there's a couple of garden centres. Drewton's Farm Shop is nearby for good food and they have a restaurant. There's a pub that does food about a ten minute walk away, in the next village.
You're well placed to get out from here. Market Weighton and Beverley are close. Hull is about 20 minutes away, they've got The Deep aquarium. York is under an hour. The Yorkshire coast, like Hornsea or Bridlington, is about 35 minutes by car. For walking, the area is part of the Yorkshire Wolds and there's the local North Cave Wetlands for birdwatching.
Facilities: everything's included like bedding, towels, WiFi. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, and a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
