Benny's Cottage is in North Cave, a village on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds. It's a semi-detached cottage that sleeps three. Two bedrooms upstairs, a double and a single, and one bathroom downstairs.
The cottage has a 4 Star rating. It's been in the family a long time and it's comfortable and clean. The stairs are cottage stairs, so they turn a bit and are steeper than modern ones.
You've got a small enclosed courtyard out the back with seating and a barbecue. Parking is on the drive at the front.
There's a shop and a pub about 200 yards away. The pub does food. For a meal out, there's a restaurant a mile up the road.
The Yorkshire Wildlife Trust runs the North Cave Wetlands reserve, which is a short walk from the cottage. It's good for birdwatching.
Further afield, within about 30 minutes, you've got Bempton Cliffs and the coast at Bridlington. Beverley is about 20 minutes drive. York is roughly 45 minutes. Hull is under half an hour if you're going that way.
Facilities wise: there's a washing machine, WiFi, and the bedding and towels are included. It's wheelchair accessible at the entrance. No pets, I'm afraid.
