The Old Stables is a converted barn in South Cave. It's detached. There's a small garden.
It sleeps four. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, all downstairs. The main living area is upstairs. It's an open plan space with big tri-fold doors that open out. There are beams and a wood burner. The heating is underfloor. It's got a high spec finish, so it's a 5 Star place.
South Cave has a couple of shops, two pubs, and a restaurant about five minutes' walk away. There's also a country house hotel with a spa and golf club if that's your thing.
The area is good for walking and cycling. It's the Yorkshire Wolds, which is the landscape David Hockney painted. For local walks, North Cave Wetlands is a Yorkshire Wildlife Trust site. South Cave Falconry is nearby if you like birds of prey.
Beverley is about a fifteen minute drive. It's a nice market town with the Minster, some decent places to eat, and a racecourse. Hull is twenty minutes in the other direction. It was City of Culture in 2017. The Deep aquarium is there if you're with kids.
The coast at Bridlington, Filey or Scarborough is about forty minutes away. York is under an hour's drive.
For facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring up to three dogs. There's CCTV and a video entry system, which is a bit more security than you usually get.
