The Dairy is one of the barns on a farm at High Hunsley. It’s about seven miles from Beverley. It's just for two people, one bedroom and one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating, which means it’s done up nicely. Everything feels quite new.
You’ve got your own bit of garden that’s enclosed. There’s parking right outside. Inside, there’s a washing machine, and the towels and bedding are included. The Wi-Fi works. The shower is good.
This place is very much for a quiet break. It's rural. The nearest pub is about four miles away, so you’ll need to drive. It’s a good spot if you’re walking or cycling. The Wolds Way path goes right by. You can also bring one dog.
If you like golf, there’s a course nearby. Beverley is lovely for a day out, it’s a proper market town with a minster. York is about 40 minutes in the car. The coast, places like Bridlington, is about half an hour away.
They can accommodate horses here too, if you’re bringing one. There’s hacking around the farm. You’d need to arrange that with the owners directly.
