The Dairy
The Dairy is one of seven holiday barns here at High Hunsley, on our farm. It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is a fancy way of saying it's comfortable and done up nicely.
The barn itself is converted from the old farm buildings. It's all on one level which makes it easy. You've got your own little enclosed patio area out the back. It's quiet here, just fields.
Inside, it's got everything you'd need. A proper shower, a washing machine, a TV, and the WiFi works. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring one dog.
If you're bringing horses, we can sort that. There's about five miles of off-road hacking around the farm. You'd need to talk to us first to arrange stabling.
Location wise, it's rural. The nearest pub is about four miles away in North Newbald. It does food. For a bigger shop or a day out, Beverley is lovely. That's about seven miles. It's got the Minster and decent shops. York is roughly forty minutes by car if you fancy that.
It's a good spot if you like walking or cycling. The Yorkshire Wolds Way is right on the doorstep. The coast, places like Bridlington, is about a half hour drive. There's fishing nearby and a golf course not far away.
That's about it. It's a comfortable place to come back to after being out.
