The Hideaway

The Hideaway is a small, detached 'Shepherd's hut' style place in my garden in Hotham. It sleeps two. One room, with the bed at one end and the living space at the other. The shower room is compact but has a good, walk-in shower.

There are two steps up to get inside. The main doors are French doors which open straight out onto your own enclosed garden area. It's private out there, good for a coffee in the morning.

The kitchen is small, as you'd expect. It has a fridge, a hob, an oven, and a microwave. Enough to make a meal. There's a Freeview TV and WiFi.

Hotham has a local pub that does food. For a bigger shop, South Cave is a short drive away. You can walk from the door, and it's good cycling country too if you bring bikes.

Within about half an hour's drive, you've got a few options. Beverley is a nice market town with the Minster. Hull has The Deep aquarium and museums. For walking, the Yorkshire Wolds are right here. The coast at Bempton Cliffs is about 40 minutes away, good for seabirds.

Facilities are listed on the site, but to confirm: parking is here on the drive, bedding and towels are included, and there's bike storage. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
