Fairways Retreat 1

Fairways Retreat 1 is on the edge of Cottingham. It's one of a number of lodges on a large parkland site, so you have neighbours, but it's detached. Your bit is private.

It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom, all open plan. It's a 4 Star place, so it's modern and well kept. Everything is heated, which makes it good for any time of year.

You have your own deck out the front with a hot tub. It's fenced in. There's parking right outside for two cars.

You can bring one dog. They need to be on a lead on site. There are acres of grounds to walk in, but you can't go on the golf courses.

The health club is included. It has a decent sized indoor pool, a gym, a sauna and a steam room. The opening times vary a bit through the week. It's shared with other guests.

Cottingham village is about a five minute drive. It's a proper place with shops, pubs and places to eat. Hull city centre is about ten minutes by car if you want museums, theatres or bigger shops.

The East Yorkshire coast is within half an hour. Places like Hornsea or Bridlington. For a longer walk, the Yorkshire Wolds are close by.

Everything is included: electricity, wifi, bedding and towels. No smoking inside.
