Foreman's Cottage

Foreman's Cottage is in Skidby. It's a small village near Beverley. The cottage used to be part of the farm here. It's been done up recently.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bedroom and bathroom are downstairs. That's useful if someone doesn't want to use the stairs. The stairs are normal, not too steep.

The main room is open plan. Kitchen, dining table, and sofas all together. There are big doors out to the garden. The kitchen is new and has an island. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine.

The garden is enclosed. It has AstroTurf, which is practical. There's patio furniture and a hot tub. The hot tub is private, not overlooked.

There's a pub you can walk to in the village. It does food. Beverley is a short drive away. It's a nice market town with the Minster and the racecourse. Good for shops and places to eat.

Hull is about 20 minutes by car. You've got The Deep aquarium there, and museums. The coast at Hornsea is maybe half an hour's drive. It has a long promenade for walking.

York is further, about an hour. It's a full day out. We're well placed for exploring the Wolds too.

Facilities: there's parking for two cars on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a stair gate if you need them. WiFi and TV are there. No pets, sorry.

If you're looking for things to do: City of York Council has good visitor information, and the Welcome to Yorkshire site covers the wider area.
