The Sheep Pod Llangadfan

The Sheep Pod is one of two pods here at Glampio Cae Pella, near Llangadfan. It's in the middle of fields, on its own. You get the space to yourselves.

It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. The bathroom is in a separate unit a few steps away, it's private and just for you. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and everything works, it's just simple.

There's a covered outdoor kitchen area with a table. You've got your own wood-fired hot tub. It takes a few hours to heat up, so you need to plan for that. The view from the tub is just fields and hills.

It's very quiet. At night you can see a lot of stars.

For walks, you're right on the edge of it all. Lake Vyrnwy is about a 15 minute drive. Good for a flat stroll or a bit of birdwatching. Glyndwr's Way passes nearby if you want something more serious.

If you need a shop or a pub, Llanfyllin is the closest town, about ten minutes by car. It has the basics. For a bigger day out, Welshpool is about half an hour. That's where Powis Castle is. The coast at Aberdovey is just over half an hour if you fancy the sea.

Facilities: there's the hot tub, the outdoor kitchen, BBQ, your own shower room, and parking right by the pod. Bedding is included. No pets.
