Sparrow Green Farm Cottage
Sparrow Green Farm Cottage is a barn conversion in Longham, near Dereham. It's for two people.
It's got one bedroom with a super king size bed. There are two bathrooms. One has a shower and a toilet. The other is in the bedroom itself, with a freestanding bath. The main room is open plan, with a kitchen, a dining area, and a living space with a wood burner. It's been done to a high standard. It's a 5 Star property, so it's comfortable and everything's new. The stairs up to the bedroom are a bit steep, typical for a barn.
You've got your own enclosed garden outside. There's also a shared area with an old moat and a fruit orchard. There's an electric vehicle charger and bike storage.
We welcome up to two dogs. The garden is fully enclosed so they can't get out.
The hamlet is quiet. There's a local pub a short walk away. Dereham is about ten minutes by car for supermarkets and a few shops. For a bigger town, Norwich is half an hour away. It's got the cathedral and the castle museum.
The coast is about 45 minutes to an hour's drive, depending on where you go. Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham are popular. There's good walking from the door, and longer trails like the Nar Valley Way are close by.
