The Cottage
The Cottage is in Wendling, Norfolk. It's a detached bungalow, so everything is on one level. No stairs. You get a private patio area with a table and chairs.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. The rating is 4 Star. It's clean and comfortable. We allow up to two dogs.
The cottage is part of a bigger estate called Scarning Dale House. You have your own space, but you share the 25-acre grounds with a few other holiday lets. There are gardens, a meadow, woodlands, and a lake with paths you can walk straight from the door. It's good for birdwatching. There's also an indoor heated swimming pool you can use, and a games room with table tennis and a snooker table.
For a pub, The Angel in Wendling is the local. It's a short walk. The market town of East Dereham is about three miles away for bigger shops, a cinema, and a swimming pool.
The north Norfolk coast is about 40 minutes by car. Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham are good for big beaches and walking. The Norfolk Broads are also around 40 minutes' drive for boat trips.
Inside, there's a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and parking right outside. All bedding is included, and we can provide a cot.
