Norwich is a 40 minute drive. They've got the castle, museum, and the Colman's Mustard Shop. Kings Lynn is about 16 miles, it's a medieval town with a theatre and shops.
Closer by, you've got market towns like Swaffham and East Dereham. For a day out, Thetford Forest has walks and cycle trails. Oxburgh Hall, Sandringham Estate, and Castle Acre Priory are all within a 30 minute drive.
