Greenacre Barn is a converted barn just outside Swaffham. It's a bungalow, so everything is on one level, which is good if you don't want stairs. It sleeps eight, four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The main thing is the space. The rooms are a good size. There's an enclosed garden at the back, which is handy if you've got dogs or kids. The view from the back is over fields.
For walking, the Peddars Way starts nearly at the end of the drive. It's a long distance path, but you can just do a bit of it. You can walk into Swaffham from here, it's about a mile and a half. The town has a market, some shops, a few supermarkets. There's a pub about three quarters of a mile away that does food.
If you want the coast, it's about a 35 minute drive to Hunstanton. It's a classic seaside town with a beach and amusements. Further along the coast are the nature reserves, like Holme and Titchwell. They're good for birdwatching. The Norfolk Wildlife Trust has details. The North Norfolk coast is all within about an hour's drive.
Facilities wise: it's got a washing machine, wifi, a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. It's wheelchair accessible at the entrance. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking on site.
