The Pightl is in South Acre, Norfolk. It's a cottage in a group of four on a farm, at the end of a quiet lane. There's a big shared garden but each cottage has its own enclosed bit for sitting out.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after. The bathroom has a walk-in shower over the bath.
The place is very quiet. You get owls in the trees at night. It's good for walking or cycling straight from the door. The river is a five minute walk away. It's shallow, so kids can paddle.
Castle Acre village is about a fifteen minute walk. There's a village green, a couple of pubs, and a shop. The castle and priory are there too, run by English Heritage.
For the coast, it's about half an hour's drive. That gets you to beaches like Brancaster, or Hunstanton. Sandringham is about the same distance. The Peddars Way long distance path is nearby if you want a proper walk.
Inside, there's a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. WiFi is included. There's parking right outside. Bedding is provided. We can put a cot and highchair in for you. No pets, I'm afraid.
