This is Holy Boys. It’s one of the cottages here at Church Farm, near Castle Acre. We live on site too, just so you know. You’ll see the farm buildings from the garden.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms and each one has its own bathroom, which is handy. It’s got a 4 Star rating. The place is clean and comfortable. It’s a cottage though, so mind your head on some of the beams.
The garden is enclosed and it’s just for you. We get owls in the yard, Barn Owls and Little Owls. You hear them at night sometimes.
You’re right in the middle of the Norfolk countryside here. It’s very quiet. The River Nar is a five minute walk down the lane. There’s a footbridge there, good for a paddle or throwing sticks in. Castle Acre village is about a twenty minute walk. You can go through the fields or along the quiet lane. It’s got a couple of pubs, a village shop, and the ruins of the priory and castle.
For days out, the coast is about half an hour’s drive. That’s places like Brancaster and Hunstanton. The Peddars Way footpath starts nearby if you like walking. You can get to the Norfolk Broads in under an hour.
What’s here: there’s a woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi. All the bedding is included. We can provide a cot and highchair. There’s parking right outside. No pets, I’m afraid.
