Nightingale Cottage
Nightingale Cottage is in Castle Acre. It's a three bedroom cottage but it sleeps four. One bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and comfortable but not fancy. There's an open fire. The bedrooms have ceiling fans, which are good in summer.
The cottage is in the middle of the village. You can walk to the pub, it's about a minute away. They do food. There's also a shop and a cafe on the green. The Castle Acre Priory ruins are right there. You can see them from parts of the village.
There's a small courtyard garden out the back. It's enclosed. Parking is on site for one car.
For days out, the Peddars Way starts here. It's a Roman road that goes straight to the coast. Good for walking or cycling. The North Norfolk coast is about half an hour's drive. Brancaster and Wells-next-the-Sea are that way. The Sandringham estate is also within half an hour.
Inside, there's a washing machine, wifi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
