Nightingale Cottage
Nightingale Cottage is in Castle Acre, Norfolk. It's a terraced cottage in the middle of the village.
It sleeps four. There are three bedrooms but one is quite small, so it works if you've got kids or want a dressing room. There's one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and clean, not luxurious. The stairs are cottage stairs, as you'd expect.
You've got a small courtyard garden out the back. It's enclosed. There's parking for one car on the drive.
The village has a shop, a cafe, and a pub, all a couple of minutes' walk away. The pub does food. The real draw here is the history. You can walk to the Castle Acre Priory ruins and the castle earthworks. It's very quiet.
If you want to get out, the Peddars Way long-distance path goes right through. Good for walks or cycles. The coast at places like Brancaster or Wells-next-the-Sea is about half an hour by car. Thetford Forest is also about half an hour away if you want to do something different.
Inside, there's an open fire in the living room. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
