This is Skylark Barn, in Swaffham. It's one of two barns here, next to Kestrel Barn. We live on site, so if you need anything we're just up the track. The barn itself is a conversion, so the rooms are a good size. It sleeps eight, with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms have their own en-suite. It's got a 5 Star rating, so everything should be in good order.
You get a private garden with a patio and a barbecue. There's a hot tub out there, which is just for you. Inside, there's a wood burner for the colder months. It's all on one level except for a couple of steps between the kitchen and the living area.
The track up to the barns is a bit rough. It's fine for normal cars, just take it slow.
Swaffham is a proper market town. You can walk in from here in about fifteen minutes. There's a decent choice of shops, pubs and places to eat. For a big supermarket, you'd drive.
Norfolk's quite spread out. The north coast, with places like Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham, is about half an hour's drive. The beaches there are sandy and wide. Thetford Forest is also half an hour the other way, good for walking and cycling. If you're into history, Sandringham Estate and Peckover House are within easy reach. For planning longer trips, Visit Norfolk is useful.
Facilities: there's parking right outside, WiFi, a washing machine, dishwasher, and TV. We include the bedding and towels. A cot and highchair are here if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
