Skylark Barn

This is Skylark Barn, near Swaffham. It's a barn conversion, semi-detached with its neighbour Kestrel Barn. We live on-site too, in the farmhouse.

It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. Two of those bathrooms are en-suite. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-finished and comfortable.

You reach it by a rough farm track. It's not paved, just compacted stone. It's fine for normal cars, just take it steady.

Inside, there's a wood burner. Outside, there's a private patio area with a barbecue and your own hot tub. The garden is yours to use.

Swaffham town centre is about a 15 minute walk. There's a good range of shops, pubs and places to eat there. You don't need to drive if you don't want to.

For a day out, Thetford Forest is about half an hour's drive. Good for walks and cycling. The North Norfolk coast is also about 30 minutes away. Wells-next-the-Sea has the big beach with the pine woods, and Holkham is right next to it. Hunstanton is a traditional seaside town further along.

If you're interested in local history, Sandringham Estate is close by. Norwich with its castle and cathedral is about 40 minutes. The coast is great for birdwatching.

Facilities wise, it's all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's on-site parking. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring two dogs.
