Lodge Cottage is in Wendling, Norfolk. It's attached to another property called The Lodge, but it's self-contained and you get your own bit of garden. It's for two people.
It's a bungalow, so it's all on one level. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's clean and has what you need, but it's not a luxury finish. The walls are a bit thin because it's an annexe, so you might hear normal noises from next door.
The main thing here is the grounds. The cottage is part of a big estate with 25 acres of gardens, woods, and meadows. There are paths you can walk straight from the door. There's a shared indoor heated swimming pool you can book slots for, and a games room with table tennis and snooker.
You're about half an hour from the north Norfolk coast. Places like Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham are good for beach walks. The National Trust at Holkham is worth a look. The Norfolk Broads are about a 40-minute drive if you fancy a boat trip.
East Dereham is the nearest town, about three miles. It's got supermarkets, a cinema, and a weekly market. For a day out, Gressenhall Rural Life Museum is interesting, or Thetford Forest for cycling.
Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and bedding is included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot available if you need one.
