Rose Cottage Wendling

Rose Cottage is in Wendling, Norfolk. It's a bungalow, so everything's on the ground floor. That's good if you don't want stairs.

It sleeps two, in one bedroom. There's one bathroom. Pets are welcome. The rating is 3 Star, which is as described. It's clean and comfortable.

The cottage is part of a bigger place called Scarning Dale House. You've got 25 acres of grounds to yourself, with gardens, a meadow, and woodland. There are walking trails from the door. There's also an indoor heated swimming pool you can use, and a games room with table tennis and snooker.

Your bit of the garden is enclosed. There's parking right there.

Inside, it's open plan. There's a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and all the bedding is included. We provide a cot if you need one.

East Dereham is the nearest town, about two and a half miles. They've got shops, a market, places to eat, a cinema, and a swimming pool.

For a day out, the north Norfolk coast is about half an hour by car. Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham are good for beaches and walking. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coast there. The Norfolk Broads are about 40 minutes away if you fancy a boat trip.

If you're interested, Gressenhall Rural Life Museum is three miles away. Thetford Forest is further, maybe a 40-minute drive, for cycling or walking.
