The Cabin
The Cabin is in Scarning, which is a small village a few miles outside Dereham. It's detached, so no one's attached to you. The garden is enclosed.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean, not luxury. The main thing is it's private and you've got your own space.
There's a games room with a pool table. There's also a shared outdoor swimming pool on the site, which is open in the warmer months. You'll need to bring your own towels for that.
Facilities are all there: parking, washing machine, TV. Bedding is included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
Location wise, it's rural. You're in the country, so it's quiet. Dereham is about ten minutes by car for shops and supermarkets.
The north Norfolk coast is the big draw. Wells-next-the-Sea, Holkham, and Cromer are all roughly forty minutes to an hour's drive away. Good for beaches and walking. The Broads are about the same distance in the other direction.
For local history, Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse is just outside Dereham. If you're planning trips out, the National Trust in Norfolk and Visit Norfolk sites are useful.
