Tilly
Tilly is one of three shepherd's huts on our farm in Llangors. It's in a quiet paddock. You get your own small patch of garden with it.
It sleeps two. One bed, one room. It's a 3 Star rating, which is about right. It's clean and does the job. There's a wood burner inside for heat. The bed is a proper double.
The kitchen and the shower room are shared between the three huts. The kitchen has a gas cooker, fridge-freezer, and a microwave. The shower room is clean and functional. You'll probably see us or the other guests coming and going.
You're on a working farm. There will be sheep in the next field, sometimes closer. You'll hear farm noises. It's very dark at night, so the stars are good if it's clear.
Llangors Lake is about a mile away. You can walk around it, or hire a paddleboard or kayak. The village has a shop and two pubs, both do food.
Brecon is a fifteen minute drive. It's a good market town with supermarkets and places to eat. For walking, you're on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Pen y Fan is about a half hour drive away.
One well-behaved dog is welcome. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right by the hut.
If you want to book with friends, the other two huts are identical. You can book all three for six people.
