It's called Ty Olwyn Bach, just outside Talybont-on-Usk. It's a shepherd's hut on the edge of our farm.
It's for two people. One room with a pull-down bed, and a bathroom with a shower. It has a 4 Star rating. It's small and neat. Everything is on one level so there are no steps to worry about.
You're on your own out here. It's detached, with a little patio area and a barbecue. The view from the door is across the valley to the Sugar Loaf and the Black Mountains. Because it's so dark at night, you can see a lot of stars. We're in the Brecon Beacons National Park which is an International Dark Sky Reserve.
The Usk Valley Trail goes right past the gate if you want to walk or cycle. Talybont village is about a mile away. It's got a good shop and cafe, bike hire, and a few pubs that do food.
You can cycle along the canal towpath into Brecon. That's about five miles. Brecon has the usual town things: cafes, a cathedral, and the Royal Welsh Regimental Museum.
The hut has a fridge-freezer, a combination microwave, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
We've got other cottages on the farm if you were coming with a bigger group.
