Brynich Villa

This is Brynich Villa. It's up in Groesffordd, just outside Brecon town. It's detached and sits on a caravan park, but you've got your own big garden. The main thing is the view. You look right out over the valley to the Brecon Beacons.

It sleeps a lot of people. Twelve, across six bedrooms. There are three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and well-equipped, but the layout isn't fancy. It's a practical sort of place for a big group.

The kitchen is big, with a table that seats everyone. There's a separate living room. Downstairs there's also a games room with table football and table tennis, which is handy if the weather turns. Because it's on a park, there's a kids' play area right opposite the house.

It's a ten-minute walk to the pub in the village, it does food. Brecon itself is about a mile away. That's where you'll find the proper shops, cafes, and more pubs.

You're in the National Park, so it's mainly about the walking and cycling from the door. The Brecon Beacons National Park Authority site has trail maps. Brecon has a regimental museum and a cathedral. You can take a barge trip on the canal there too.

Hay-on-Wye, with all the bookshops, is about half an hour's drive. Abergavenny is a similar distance. Cardiff and Swansea are both a bit less than an hour.

Facilities: it's all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, bedding included. There's parking for a few cars. The garden is enclosed. You can bring up to two dogs.
