Woodland View is our place in Sarnau, Powys. It's a semi-detached barn conversion on our working farm. The views are good, you can see the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains. It's a dark sky area here, so the stars are clear at night.
It sleeps six. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped.
The layout is a bit different because it's a barn. There are two bedrooms and a shower room on the ground floor. The main living area is upstairs. There's also a second staircase that goes down to a games room with a pool table.
Outside, there's an enclosed lawned garden. It's safe for kids. There's parking.
The utility room with the washing machine and tumble dryer is at the back. It's shared with the property next door. You get your own slots to use it. We provide bedding and towels. There's Wi-Fi and decent 4G signal.
The nearest shop and pub is about three miles away in Felinfach. Brecon is a good market town, about a 15 minute drive. It's got shops, cafes, and a few museums like the Royal Welsh Museum.
You're right in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Walking is the main thing. Pen y Fan is the big one if you want a challenge. For a gentler walk, the canal in Brecon is nice. There's a golf course about four miles away.
If you need space for more people, we've got another cottage next door called Mountain View. You can book them together.
