Woodland View
Woodland View is a barn conversion on a working farm in Sarnau, in the Brecon Beacons. I suppose the name comes from the trees out back, but the main view is fields and the mountains. The skies are very dark here, so you see a lot of stars.
It sleeps six in four bedrooms. The layout is handy, with a double and a twin bedroom downstairs, along with a shower room. Upstairs is the living area and two more bedrooms. One has an en-suite shower. There's another set of stairs inside that leads down to a games room with a pool table.
The garden is enclosed and grassy. Good for kids or a dog if you had one, but we don't allow pets, sorry.
You share the utility room at the back with the next-door cottage. That's where the washing machine and tumble dryer are. It's fine, just something to know.
The nearest shop and pub are in Three Cocks, about three miles away. Brecon is a bit further, maybe twenty minutes by car. It's a proper market town with shops and a few museums. If you walk, Pen y Fan is the obvious one. It's the highest point around here. The views are worth it.
Facilities wise, it's got what you'd expect. WiFi, TV, dishwasher, parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
