Swn Y Nant is a lodge just outside Aberyscir. It's a detached place, so you've got your own space. You can hear the stream from the house.
It sleeps four across two bedrooms, one downstairs and one up. Has a four star rating. Everything is on one level once you're inside, which is good if steps are a problem. There's a ramp up to the front door.
The main room is open plan with big windows. You get a wood burner, a smart TV, and the wi-fi is fast. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. There's underfloor heating, which works well.
Outside there's a deck with a hot tub. There are also taps outside, handy for washing off a dog or muddy boots. It's an eco place, so they leave cleaning products and a welcome basket with local bits. You can charge an electric car here.
You can have two dogs. They leave a bed, a blanket, some treats and bags. You can ask for a dog cage if you need one.
You can walk straight from the door into the hills. Brecon town is about six miles away for shops and cafes. For a proper walk, Pen y Fan is close. You can drive to the start points.
The area is good for riding, fishing, and there's a golf course nearby. For planning, the Brecon Beacons National Park site has walking routes. National Trust has a few places within a half hour drive, like Tredegar House.
Bedding and towels are included. They leave bath robes and slippers too.
