Tyncoed is one of two lodges on our sheep farm in Lower Chapel. It's in Powys, just north of the Brecon Beacons. It's detached and all on one level.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one shower room. It's open plan. There's a sofa bed in the living area if you need it, but it's really meant for two. It has a 4 Star rating. It's wheelchair accessible at the entrance.
Outside, there's a deck with a private hot tub. You look out over the fields. It's a working farm, so you'll see sheep. You can walk straight out from the lodge. The views are good, you can see the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains.
Brecon is about six miles away. It's a proper town with shops, pubs, a theatre, and a cathedral. The Regimental Museum is there if that's your thing. You can go on the canal there too. They have the Jazz Festival in summer.
You're right on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. It's good for walking and cycling. Hay-on-Wye is about half an hour by car for the bookshops. National Trust Brecon Beacons has ideas for days out.
It has WiFi, parking, and bedding and towels are included. The electricity is part of the price. There's no charge for using the hot tub. We don't allow pets.
