Spindrift is in Reydon. It's a Victorian cottage on Hylands Avenue. A couple of streets back from the seafront. It sleeps four, two bedrooms, one bathroom. Both bedrooms have double beds. You can bring one dog.
The place has a 4 Star rating. It's been modernised a bit so the basics are solid. The stairs are steep though. Comes with bedding and towels, there's a washing machine, and you get the garden to yourself. It's enclosed so the dog can't wander off. Parking is on the quiet street outside.
There's a local shop at the top of the road. Useful for papers and milk. Southwold centre is about a five minute walk. You've got the pier, the beach, some pubs, and the Adnams Brewery there.
For a longer walk, you can get straight onto the footpath network from the garden gate. That’ll take you into the countryside behind the town. The Suffolk Coast & Heaths National Landscape is just north of here. Minsmere nature reserve is about a twenty minute drive up the coast. Southwold to Walberswick is a good walk along the river.
In the other direction, Aldeburgh is about a twenty minute drive. The Latitude Festival at Henham Park is about four miles away, if you’re booking for that.
