Bolster Moor Barn is, as the name says, a barn conversion in Bolster Moor. It's up in the hills above Huddersfield. The neighbours are sheep.
It sleeps ten people. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating. That basically means it's been done to a high standard, all recently renovated. Everything works.
It's got an open plan kitchen and dining area that leads into a sunroom with beams. The living room has a pool table. The garden is enclosed. There's a hot tub outside.
You can walk to a local pub that does food in about five minutes. There's a farm shop and café a ten-minute walk away. They do good pies.
Golcar village is close by. It's quiet, with cobbled streets and a few shops. Slaithwaite and Marsden are a short drive away. Slaithwaite has canalside cafes. Marsden is where you pick up the Pennine Way for walking. Huddersfield town centre is about twenty minutes by car if you need shops or a train station.
The Titanic Spa is five minutes away if you want that. Peak District National Park and the Yorkshire Dales National Park are both within a thirty minute drive for a proper day out.
What's here: dishwasher, washing machine, TV, WiFi, parking for a few cars. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair. You can bring two dogs. The garden is secure for them.
