Tigh N Eilean
Tigh N Eilean is in Aberfeldy, on the main street almost opposite the river. It's a big, solid stone house.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, all with their own shower room, which is handy with a group. The main bedroom has a jacuzzi bath. The stairs are a normal staircase, not one of those twisty cottage ones.
The back garden is private, it's yours. There's also a larger shared garden at the back if you want more space to run about.
Aberfeldy's a good town. You can walk to the shops, the pub, the golf course. The river's right there. The Birks of Aberfeldy walk is just out of town. The Dewar's distillery is a short walk away if you like whisky.
You're well placed for getting out. Loch Tay is about ten minutes by car for boats and fishing. Kenmore is close. For castles, Castle Menzies is here in town, and Scotish National Trust Loch Tay has information on the area, like the Crannog Centre. Further out, you've got Pitlochry, Tay Forest Park, and the Pass of Killiecrankie all within half an hour.
In the house, there's parking, a washing machine, WiFi, and a cot and highchair if needed. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
It's a 4 Star place. That means it's comfortable and well looked after.
