This is Arden. It's a house in Glenluce, a quiet village in Dumfriesshire. It's a good base for seeing this bit of Scotland.
The house sleeps eight people. There are four bedrooms and two shower rooms. One shower is downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been refurbished so it's in good order. The garden at the back is big and enclosed.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking on the drive. The facilities are what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. We include the bedding and towels. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
Glenluce has a shop and a couple of places to eat. The beach is about three miles away. The coast around here is good for walking and there's local fishing if that's your thing.
Within half an hour you can get to a lot. The Galloway Forest Park is good for walking and they've got the dark sky status. There's Glenluce Abbey just outside the village. Castle Kennedy Gardens are nearby too. There are a few golf courses in the area.
