The Old Laundry

The Old Laundry is in Great Snoring. It's a detached, single-storey cottage that used to be the laundry for the big house. It's been done up to a high standard, so it's comfortable and everything works. The 5 Star rating reflects that. It's all on one level, which makes it good for less mobile guests, and there's a ramp to the front door.

It sleeps four in two bedrooms. One double and one twin. There's one bathroom with a shower over the bath. The garden is enclosed, so it's secure for dogs and kids. You can fit two cars on the drive, and there's an electric vehicle charger.

Inside, it's got what you'd expect: a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, wifi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. We take up to two dogs.

The location is quiet and rural. The nearest shop and pub are about two miles away in Little Walsingham. It's a proper Norfolk village, not much to it, but it's peaceful.

You're about a 20-minute drive from the north Norfolk coast. Wells-next-the-Sea is the closest, with its big beach and pine woods. Blakeney is good for boat trips to see the seals. Cromer has its pier and traditional seaside feel. Sheringham is similar and has the steam railway.

Inland, you've got Burnham Market and Holt for shopping and eating. Both are about 20 minutes by car. The big stately homes like Holkham Hall and Blickling Estate are within half an hour. Norwich city centre is about 40 minutes away if you want theatres or a big shop.
