1 Sandbanks is a detached lodge on the edge of Bwlch, just over a mile from Benllech beach on Anglesey. It sleeps four, two bedrooms and one bathroom.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a modern, open-plan place. The main bedroom has a king-sized bed and an en suite shower. The second has twin beds, and there's a family bathroom with a bath. Everything's clean and straightforward.
Outside, there's a private patio with a sunken hot tub. You get the space to yourselves. The site is new, so you might see other lodges being delivered while you're there. It shouldn't be too disruptive.
Benllech is down the road. The beach is sandy and good for a long walk. The village has shops, places to eat, a butcher and a fishmonger.
Within about half an hour you can get to Red Wharf Bay, which is a nice tidal bay. Beaumaris has its castle, which is run by Cadw. The Anglesey Sea Zoo is near Brynsiencyn. Plas Newydd house and gardens, run by the National Trust, is on the Menai Strait. You can see Snowdonia from there.
The mainland and Snowdonia National Park are a short drive over the Britannia Bridge.
Facilities: it's detached with parking. There's WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
